Even little boys are weird

Babies rock

And oh what a day it was!

Sunday morning Isaac Anthony was totally baptised! After church we went to Bravo with Mr. and Mrs. Herb. We got to play with pizza dough and eat ice cream sundaes. Then we came home and the babies napped. Then we swam. Then we went to Red Robin for dinner and got to eat ice cream sundaes AGAIN. And we opened presents and we played games.
What a great day!

Boys are weird

No explanation needed.

JACKSON FESTIVAL! at last....

Every year Jackson (our little township) has a festival. And every year it rains. And so it goes.
Wed--rain
Thurs--Sarah had cheerleading so it was GORGEOUS outside
Fri--slumber party, thunderstorms
Sat--rain in the morning, cleared by the time Z woke up from his nap. HALLELUJAH!
So off we went and it was awesome. See?

SLUMBER PARTY!! (male version)

Friday night was Nathan's slumber party. We ran around like crazy people to get ready. We had to get the stuff for the big cookie, a couple of movies, a gift for Daddy for father's day, stuff for Ike's baptism. It was nuts! (WHY does Mom plan so much stuff in one weekend!?)

Finally, Nash (Roo) and Ryan (Scooby) got here. We swam, then ate pizza. Then we swam some more and opened presents and ate the giant cookie. We watched movies and ate popcorn and then were really loud. Finally the boys went to bed. In the morning we had donuts and played DS.

It was fun!

The dreadful digger!

Thursday was the last day of kids college and we finally confronted the dreaded digger. Z was TERRIFIED of it, but finally we made friends and took a picture.

Turns out, it was a nice digger after all.

Busy busy!

We have been so busy lately. We both started Kid's College this week. It is a 4 day program at Stark State Univ. We are taking a bunch of fun classes. Nathan is taking Lego Mania, Spy Kids and Stage cast Creator (making a video game). Sarah is taking Furry Friends (crafts with pom-pom balls), Spy Kids, and Nature Crafts. The rest of the day we are just hanging out, swimming and some more hanging out.

Sarah also had her first cheer practice with Blue Storm All-Stars this week. It was HARD, but so much fun!

Here are some random pictures because Gigi (who Sarah now prefers to call Angie!) says ever post should have some pictures...

Baseball party

On Saturday, we had our final baseball game of the season. It was awesome! Sarah had a really great hit and everyone cheered really loudly. After the game we got our trophies and gave Coach Chad one as well. He is such a great coach.
Then everyone came back to our house for a pool party. At one point a couple of ducks even tried to land in our pool. It was so much fun we forgot to take pictures!

MAPS Air Museum

Today we went to the MAPS Air Museum http://www.mapsairmuseum.org/

It was really cool. A bunch of Z's friends and Mom's friends came too. One of Mom's friends is a pilot (excuse me, AVIATOR) and she arranged the whole thing. Thanks Miss Cory!!Miss Toni got peed on by a frog!

Here's one of the planes outside the hangar waiting to be repaired.

Isaac found the whole thing very exciting.

Here's Nathan as a fighter pilot....

And Sarah and Z as co-pilots.

We learned a lot about airplanes. After we were done looking at airplanes we went to the gift shop. Nathan got sticky notes and I (Sarah) got an eraser! Here is a picture of them:

Thursday, June 11th

We started the day with a 45 minute walk through the neighborhood and into the one across the very busy road. On our way, we found lots of cool stuff...flowers, birds, squirrells, blue glass, etc. Then we made it home just before the rain started.

We then headed out to run our errands. We had to pick up the necklace Sarah had made out of glass, get party favors for Sarah's slumber party (we got 5 different nail polishes) and then to the store for more party supplies (ice cream, taco shells, etc).

Then it was home to play/sleep and then off to cheer tryouts. We played Barbies and sang the "I'm a barbie girl song".

Wednesday, June 10th

Started the day with a huge clean-up of the kid room. Whew! Then off to the Y for Mom to exercise. Then we had to get Dad's watch fixed and then to Kohl's because we had $10 Kohl's cash that was expiring. We got waterballons! Mom said she was going to make us pay for them but she plans on just letting us have them. Yeah MOM!!
Then home for lunch, nap for the little boys and lego building for us. Tonight is Mom's book club so she will probably make us clean more later.

Tuesday, June 9th

First off, today IKE is 2 months old. Yeah Ike. He smiles and coos at us and we think he rocks.

Today we did all our morning work and then went to the park. We met Matthew and Mara, Calista, Megan and Ben. We played spys and played on a tire shaky thing. Then we went home for lunch. In the afternoon we swam with M&M and then had dinner. Then Sarah had the first day of cheerleader tryouts. It was a great day! Can't wait until Friday for Sarah's sleep-over!

Monday, June 8th

Today was our first REAL day of summer since we didn't have school. We woke up, did some chores, went to the Y with our mom (she is still sore!), went to the Sippo Lake Library and then to Giant Eagle. We saw the Fisher's there! Then it was rainy so we came home, the babies slept and we went to play at the M&M's house.
Later, we had MORE baseball. Fun!
Sarah has perfect catcher form....
Z was hanging out with big brother on the bench....

The whole Astros team....

Big plans for Tuesday...park, maybe swimming, and cheer tryouts!

Cookie Camp Out!!!!!

Yesterday we left for the camp out. We played water guns with our friends and ate. Z played in the sandbox which was soaking wet after the big kids made it into a water park. So he was soaking wet and covered with sand!

My mom left with the little boys, Ike and Zachary, around 7:30. Once it was dark, we played Capture the Flag. The first round, Nathan's team won. The flag was hidden next to the flagpole. It wasn't as fair as I hoped because we only had one big kid and they had about 4. There was no winner in the second round. The rules were that the flag had to be visible and Nathan's team hid their flag under the car, with people sitting under the car guarding it. Coach Cookie decided that they broke the rules. Our team hid the flag behind a line of kids, so we think our team should have won.

After the game, we roasted marshmallows for s'mores. Then we told scary stories. Some parents were with us by the fire, others were inside watching the hockey game and some were hanging out in the driveway.

The big kids stayed up until 12 o'clock midnight! It was kind of hard to sleep in the tent because the ground was much harder than our beds. Dad wouldn't let us borrow the air mattress.

We got home around 8 a.m. Mom says we could not be dirtier, but we had fun!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today was the last day of school. We got to watch movies. Sarah watched The Tale of Desperaux. We don't know what Nathan watched cause we don't know where he is!
Here's Nathan: He watched High School Musical 3 and Bolt.

When we got home, we were attacked by all the little kids and the moms with waterguns! It was the beginning of our Bye to the Bus party. We had a giant cookie, pudding pops, popcorn, popsicles and lemonade. We had a watergun war and played with our friends.

Lots of kids came. It was the Shield 4, the M&M gang, Discenzas, Fishers, Boarmans, Sedlocks, Caos, Campbells, Hoovers, Striflers, Whites, the Boyds and the Kuntz's.

It was fun!

2 days left!!

Mom went to the store today to get stuff for the gian cookie we plan on having at our Bye to the Bus party. She got enough for 2, so maybe we can take one to the Cookie Campout also. That's on Saturday. Its for all the past, present and future Mites that play for Coach Koch (aka Coach Cookie). We are hoping to get to sleep over at the campout, but the baby boys will have to come home with Mom.

We are supposed to have a baseball game tonight (Go ASTROS!!) but it may get rained out as it is quite cool and very wet today. Our school field trip was even postponed until tomorrow because of the rain.

At school today, it was Nathan's last gym class as a second grader. They played kickpuck, which is kind of like a cross between hockey and soccer. Both of us got our Cursive Licenses today.
